Set Brief

For my AS Media Studies portfolio, I have chosen to work on the film opening task. This involves creating the titles and opening sequence of a new fiction film that will last a maximum of two minutes. The aim is to showcase my understanding of film conventions, technical skills, and creativity.

Through this project, I aim to demonstrate my understanding of how meaning is created through media language. I will explore how camera angles, lighting, and mise-en-scène work together to set the tone and engage the audience. I also want to challenge myself creatively by using minimal resources to produce a visually impactful sequence
