Final Location
Naval farms
After exploring different locations, I finally found the perfect setting for my film, a beautiful farmhouse that belongs to a dear family friend, Sajjid uncle. He’s an elderly man who has become more like family to me over the years, always welcoming and kind. When I first considered filming here, I wasn’t just drawn to the landscape but also to the warmth and history that the place holds.
What makes this location truly special is a charming hut perched on a hill, offering a breathtaking view. As you walk down from the hill, nestled to the side, is a small roadside dhabba known as Zee’s Dhabba. This place carries deep sentimental value it was built by Zeeny Aunty, the late wife of Sajid Uncle, who sadly passed away in 2024. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known, and I have no doubt she would have loved the idea of a film being made at her dhabba.
The atmosphere of the farmhouse, combined with the rustic charm of Zee’s Dhabba, creates the perfect setting for my film. It’s a place filled with memories, warmth, and a sense of familiarity, which makes it even more meaningful to use as the backdrop for my story.
